A brand new year means the return of the Galle Literary Festival & Gourmet Galle!

The Galle Literary Festival & it’s sister festival Gourmet Galle, Since its launch in 2007, has become one of the most anticipated arts-focused events in South Asia, hosting a wide variety of talks, workshops, and art-walks all within the picturesque Galle Dutch Fort.

The Galle Literary Festival, always held within the walls of a UNESCO World Heritage Site on Sri Lanka’s southern coast, features the work of locally & internationally acclaimed writers and poets, as well as giving space to artists, photographers, & performers, as part of the Art Trail. Additionally, those who attend the festival have the opportunity to attend the GLF market, & intimate dinners & lunches hosted by their favourite authors, in a number of carefully curated venues, within and outside the Galle fort.

Gourmet Galle, a gourmet festival up and down the south coast of Sri Lanka, as a partner to the incredibly successful Galle Literary Festival, show cases amazing celebrity and world-renowned chefs. The dinners take place in exquisite homes and the finest boutique hotels carefully curated to make each weekend its own unique and incredible event.

I have my work cut out for me this time, with a brand new IPG + ticketing platform, and a seating system we’ll be testing out on a few of the events with the biggest participant lists!
